A January of Prayer | Jan. 19 | an editing day
A January of Prayer
| 19 January 2024
Today was a chill day. My legs kinda ache from the new workout I tries. XD
Otherwise, it was a good day! I got quite a lot of good editing in for A Hawaiian Summer which was awesome! I got a chapter and about a half edited (3,497 words edited for the day)! If i can keep up this pace for multiple days in a row then I can get this book finished fast! The problem is…I’m terrible at being consistent with editing. This is something I really want to work on getting better this year.
Now it is evening (4:41 pm) and I just poured myself a cup of hot chai tea that is now steeping. I’m getting things prepared for dinner (tocos) and then we will eat fairy soon!
I need to get this book edited. Honestly, I need to get ALL of my novels edited, lol. But I am focusing on this book right now and this is the one I know will be my debut novel so that gives me more motivation to finish…as well as nerves to not finish because this will be the first one I have people read. XD I know that is a weird thought but thats been what I’ve been thinking about.
Also, I put out a new podcast episode today!!! It’s a part of a new podcast series I’m starting up called Story Science! I don’t know how often I’ll be publishing these episodes but hopefully I find a consistent posting schedule! I’m hoping once a month to twice a month. *fingers crossed it works*
I’ll chat with you more later!
