A January of Prayer | Jan. 10 | a sick day
A January of Prayer
| 10 January 2024
Snow drifts down from the sky. It goes in patches—soft slow fluffy snow to frozen rain falling fast to nothing at all. Fog hangs in the trees giving everything a moody feel—like in a thriller or someplace in England or Scotland. It’s beautiful. The snow and fog and great big trees all together. Beautiful.
Sadly, I think I’m getting sick. *sad face* I feel the hot tickle in the back of my throat and my nose is starting to get stuffy. I pray I’m not actually getting sick. I really don’t like being sick. Oh well, we’ll probably know for sure by nightfall.
What I read…
- Psalm 86
- Isaiah 60
Today is a sick day sadly. For me and multiple family members. It’s sad. But at least we get to stay cozy at home while the snow falls outside.
Still, I did get some good editing in! I’m also working on a post all about my favorite reads of 2023! I can’t wait to get that post out to you all (later today I think or tomorrow)! I also am working on making some fun freebies for my newsletter subscribers! I will be sending an email soonish hopefully *fingers crossed* and when that happens I will be sending you a fun freebie. Hint: it’s writing related and involves nature and music! I have actually been using this resource a lot today and I can’t wait to share it!
I am also almost finished with reading The Hobbit! The audiobook is due tomorrow so I’m going to finish listening to it tonight! I’m really loving listening to audiobooks before bed—it also helps me get off screens before sleeping which is really good!
1 minute later…
I also got such a sweet message today that was also asking me to start up my newsletter again! I just want to say: I am working on it! Truly I am! I feel much more motivated to start now and I really want to get a newsletter out to you all—especially to that one sweet friend who asked!
Thank you dear!
I’m working on graphics and the freebies are ready so *fingers crossed* it’s soon!
I feel so sick. Have you ever been so sick your bones ache from the inside out and they are hot? Have you been so sick you turn to an icicle and you cannot stop shaking? I don’t feel like I’ve never shaken this much before.
I’m so tired now. I’m surprised how fast it came on. Anyways. I’m not feeling the greatest so we’ll see if I still post tomorrow. Goodnight now.
