Hello friend! I’m SO excited to share the cover of my dear friend Madisyn’s new and upcoming book: A Silent Hope!!! A Silent Hope is a New Adult Christian Non-Magical Fantasy in the Hope Ever After series and is a retelling of The Wounded Lion fairytale! 

I actually had never heard of this tale until I learned about it from this book. It is a Spanish tale if I’m correct and is also a part of The Pink Fairy Book by Andrew Lang (which is the version I’m planning to read either today or later this week). So if you want to read the fairy tale before reading this retelling (or just read the retelling first) you should be able to read it from Libby (what I use) or the library since most libraries have a collection of classics and fairytales! 

• Question: have you read The Wounded Lion? Do you like fairytale retellings? 

Something very exciting about this novella is something Madisyn shared on her blog! She said, “ I didn’t intend for it to spark a series idea, yet it has. So, be on the possible lookout in late 2025!” How exciting is that!!!!

The proceeds from this series are donated to the O.U.R. (Operation Underground Rescue) to rescue children from exploitation and trafficking.
