Happy Palm Sunday

+ a Bible teaching I recommend

Hello friend! Happy Palm Sunday! I sit here writing this at 4:47 pm with my second cup of coffee of the day (Sundays are two cups of coffee kind of days) while a mixed berry pie is baking in the oven and filling the house with sweet warm scents while fresh snow from this morning glistens on the ground outside the windows.

Today is a quick little post just to say hello and share some verses and a Bible teaching I listened to this Sunday that really spoke to me.

This Sunday I read from Mark chapter 11 about this day—Palm Sunday. This starts off the Holy Week. We go from Jesus being praised by the people who shout “hosanna” to Friday where they call for his death and nail Him on the cross. Then  on the third day (exactly a week from Palm Sunday) Jesus raises to life from the grave and conquers sin and death. In Him we are saved and are able to live and be close and connected to Jesus and have a way—the only way—to be with God for eternity. He saved us. He saved me. He saved you.

Isn’t that incredible? God loves you so much He died for you to save you and have a way He can connect to you and you to Him! Jesus became the sacrifice for us to be set free and to have an intimate relationship with God and be saved from the curse of sin and death. He saved us!

Praise God!!!

Praise the Lord for He is good!!!

He has saved us!!!

Let us praise Him!!!

1Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; 2and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it.  3And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”
4So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. 5But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?”
6And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go. 7Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. 8And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
10Blessed is the kingdom of our father David
That comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!”
11And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
—Mark 11:1-11

This Sunday me and my family listened to a teaching that really spoke to me and changed my heart and revealed things to me I didn’t know about myself that I’ve been struggling with. I love when a message can speak to you and can reveal things to you as well as heal your heart

We need messages that point us to Jesus and show us His healing power to fix not only physical wounds but the deep wounds and pains inside of our hearts and minds even coming to us from past generations.

I highly recommend listening and opening your heart and ears to listen to this message and do what the pastor says. I think through the Holy Spirit you can be healed of the pains, wounds, generational traumas and sins, and your inner vows. I believe there is breakthrough for you! I believe even today you can be healed and changed and go on to bless your future family and kids (even your current family)!

Please listen! I really think it can help you and change your life!

Happy Palm Sunday and remembering what God has done for you (& all of us)! I pray God blesses you and your day!

Love,
Moriyah
